描述
Leah stands hidden beneath a bridal veil as musicians beat tambourines and hand drums around her, leading her toward Jacob in the midst of a festive wedding procession. The covered face and joyful celebration point to the deception arranged by Laban, who gave Leah to Jacob in place of Rachel after Jacob had served seven years for the woman he loved. The veil becomes the central symbol of the story: what appears to be a marriage feast also conceals a painful act of manipulation. In Genesis 29, the scene exposes human scheming within family covenant life, while also showing how God works through broken circumstances, since Leah becomes mother of sons who carry forward the tribes of Israel.
